OK, so I decided to take a day of from going to school, because well, I really didn't want to do that. SO I have some extra time and I decided to give this site a much needed update.

Newly brunette Jesse McCartney may have dyed his golden locks for an acting role, but it looks like the "Beautiful Soul" crooner is also channeling that new brooding demeanor onto his next solo album.
The 18-year-old has been writing tunes for the follow-up to his platinum debut, 2004's Beautiful Soul, since the summer. McCartney says his sophomore effort, which he plans to start recording in February, will reflect artistic and personal growth. Read more...

Jesse is said to bring out a DVD about his Beautiful Soul tour
The Beautiful Soul Tour Concert DVD features 12 songs from McCartney's concert tour, including Without U, That Was Then, Because You Live, Beautiful Soul, The Stupid Things, What's Your Name and more.
The DVD comes with a 'Stripped and Raw' bonus 6-track CD featuring the tracks: Without U , She's No You, Beautiful Soul , The Stupid Things, Blackbird and She's No You featuring Fabolous.
Jesse will join several other artists to record a song from which the profits go to benefit victims of the recent Hurricane Katrina disaster that devastated our Nation. Proceeds will be split between two charities; Habitat for Humanity which seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action, and Angels' Place which provided homes for terminally ill children (and their families) which were destroyed by the hurricane and must be rebuilt.

I wish that they aired Arthur Ashe Day in Holland. I've seen clips of it and it's seems like such a fun event.
Jesse also attended the 2005 MTV Music Awards together with his girlfriends Katie Cassidy. Jesse didn't win an award though

AFter the Teen Choice Awards Jesse and Katie went to Koi. On the way there Jesse stopped and bought Katie some roses. You can view some HQ pictures of that

Great news! Jesse will perform at this years US Open Arthur Ashe Kids' Day on August 27. Imagine how hot that events will be. On one hand you got Jesse and on other hand you have Andy Roddick. It's just to bad that they don't air it in Holland

Well, I watched the series finale of Summerland and I'm really dissapointed with it. They could have done so much better. There are to many loose ends.
Anyway, I added a scan of Jesse in a Dutch magazine called Break Out!. You can check it out here

So sad, tonight is the last episode of Summerland. I really hope the WB will bring it out on DVD, because it's a great show. The synopsis of tonights eppie is:
Nikki (Kay Panabaker) surreptitiously acts as a matchmaker to Ava (Lori Loughlin) and Johnny (Shawn Christian), but Johnny has his reservations about getting back into a relationship. Bradin (Jesse McCartney) becomes so upset that he considers quitting surfing altogether after his sponsors intentionally give him a bad-boy image. Feelings are confronted when Bradin and Erika (Taylor Cole) discuss the possibility of a relationship, and Johnny finally makes a decision when Ava lays all her cards on the table and admits she still loves him.
I really hope Bradin and Erika will end up together, cause they look so cute together.

It's been a while since I updated this site. I have been very busy with school the last month or so, so I didnt realy have time or energy to update the site. But summer vacation has starded, so updates will be more regular
Also, if the layout looks stretched out, it's because a stupid big add. I just hope that one will be taken out of rotation soon.

Jesse wil start filming an independent film in April 2006. The movie will be called 'Keith' and it's a story about a 17-year-old who thinks she's got it all figured out until she falls for a guy who has nothing to lose.

Well, Summerland is not listed in the WB fall schedule and neither does it mention that it will be back mid-season. So it's cancelled. The WB will still air th elast couple of episodes in June, but after that no more. Maybe it'll come back if those last couple of episodes get some amazing ratings, but I doubt it. Yeah I know it's sad.
